Category mapping

Category names you are using in your eCommerce platform aren’t always the same that ones used by suppliers to reference products. Category mapping helps transform data that way, so all products are assigned to the category you set.

Before you map, you need to set up your category structure in Wise2Sync. In most cases this would match the structure in your eCommerce platform. Each category has two parameters: category code (which can be category ID or any other identifier) and category name.

Mass actions speeds up category mapping process – filter categories by name or alias and map multiple categories with one action.

Mapped categories can also be used in product filtering, adding price markup and generating custom dynamic attributes.
